Just in time for weekend shopping...

I am SO ready for the weekend even though it probably involves me fixing a flat tire and replacing a belt on the rider mower!  I'm hoping I can bribe a "still home for the summer" teenager to do it for some chocolate chip cookies though...wish me luck.

Okay - so I bought a new font yesterday and I am SO in love with it!

More so than brownies with chocolate chip ice cream.  Really...I mean it!

Shameless pitch - The Inn at Oaklawn Farms

I am going to make a shameless pitch for my brother's new business adventure.

He recently purchased this gorgeous old manse in Carrollton, GA,

The Inn at Oak Lawn Farms.

Carrollton, GA is about 45 minutes SW of Atlanta.  If you live in the area or know anyone who does - this is an amazing place for weddings, 

private parties or corporate events.

My brother has been working tirelessly since May to get the place back up and running to host events.
My husband, Jim, and I spent a few days this summer helping him out.

When we arrived, the amount of work seemed overwhelming,
but I had a blast!

We cleaned, did many projects, and moved around A LOT of furniture and decor to give it a fresh look.  

At the end of my three days there,
I was truly in love and obsessed with this place!  

It is loaded with character and grace!
The history of this property alone is incredible!

so it would fit perfectly over her little anticipated boy's crib.
