Creation of the week from the NW branch

We have a much harder time finding old windows for our creations 

out here in Spokane so my heart leapt when I found these at a 

country barn sale near our home.  

They were pretty scruffy and took a lot of elbow grease to get cleaned up 

but I loved the shape!  (yucky one on left and an unyucked one on the right!) 

(Unyucked should be a word!)

A few coats of paint along with some window caulking 

and a great new vinyl and we have a winner!  

A very one of a kind awesome piece of home decor just waiting for the 

first person to let us know they want it!

Design of the Week a few days early!

I had the craving to put ink to paper and do some lettering this weekend.  Should have been pulling weeds but hey, when art calls I will gladly put down my fancy weeding tool my father recently bought me and get to it!!  So, our newest design and design of the week is a little hand lettered number from Proverbs.  Enjoy!

Creation and Design of the week - In this Kitchen

We had this long window with a strange but cool bar on it...

that is what instigated this whole thing.

We could not remove the bar due to all the layers of paint over the screws.

So...how could the bar be used?

A towel rod!

If the window hung vertically the "strange bar" would be a great towel holder!

The size made it perfect for a kitchen.

But...we didn't have a kitchen quote that long to fit this space.

So Missy and I started brainstorming.

We needed an "IN THIS KITCHEN" graphic!

Well the thoughts flowed and the humor and the editing.

We really wanted to include "We burn things."

but we decided to stay positive.

We sent the words along to Adonna and 

TA DA!
